I helped my ex-husband with his 2 children and I spent more time with them than he did. When we divorced I wanted custody of those children because the mom did not care about anything but money that she spent on herself not buy the children anything. However, when we divorced, my mom and our marriage counselor told me it was inappropriate for me to remain in their lives since I am no longer with their father. I fought against it at first because the little boy lived with us full-time. The mother never wanted him, he doesn’t his first 5 years with my ex-husband mom in El Salvador. The mom felt like if the father did not want anything serious with her she wasn’t raising his son. So, I felt he was more stable with me than his father and he continued to live with me as the father never really made time for his studies and educational goals. I would help him study and he went from C’s and D’s to A’s, B’s and a couple of C’s and out goal was A’s and B’s. I also believed in rewarding good behavior and punishing bad behavior, while his parents did not. They yelled at bad behavior and beat the crap out of him and ignored the good behavior, just waiting for his failure. I really wanted to cal CPS on them, but at least he had food, his own room; etc, but their priorities were mixed up. I wanted him to have a good education so he could get a good job, they just wanted him to work, which is fine, but why not prepare him so he can have a better future than his mom and dad. I don’t get parents who are jealous of their kids or dont want to see their kids have more and do better. So, it was really hard for me to let go because I was worried, then the mother started rumors of of inappropriate crap, that got cleared up and no one believed, but I thought about what the counselor said about me letting fo because they are not my children. I didn’t have children and so all of my motherly love went into his children. So, while the father did not mind, the mother said she had no problem with her son living with me, but she did. So, I am iffy on moms who say they are upset about their kids not being around an EX wife. It is not true. Those mother’s will have a problem and start inventing things in their minds. Especially, since she always wanted the father to be with her and having children was her way of getting him to commit but it never happened. I personally felt she was a trifling little imp, the way she treated her son, but I never let the boy know that because one of the 10-Commandments was to honor your mother and father. This is the only commandment with a promise of long life right in the Command. So when he would say his mom didnt love him and wanted me to be his mom. I straightened him out really quick. 1st with the commandment, next with I felt unloved and abused as a kid as well, but he could see I moved my mother in with me to take care of her. I made sure she was loved and taken care of. I also, let him know people love in different ways and her life was hard, she loves you the best way she knows how to love. And finally, I told him to love his mom they way he wanted to be loved and that can teach her how you want to be loved. It is not a guarantee, but it is possible due to her life she never had love and never knew how to give it. But after a few months he went from living with me, to spending weekends with his mom, to only weekends with me to fully staying with his mom and I had to let go. They were not mine. I moved from that State a few years later. I call friends in that State to check on them, but they never call me. I am sure the mom likes it that way. I pray she changed and was better to him. The daughter stayed with us, but she always wanted to have her daughter in her life and treated her like she was her child.

And she starts that business with alcohol. And she says she doesnt drink. There was a recent event they were at. She picked up his drink and tested it for alcohol. This was caught on camera. Heres one reason he dumped her.
